Today I met up with Lisa and Teresa on the Lower East Side right before the sun set. We were gonna walk across Williamsburg Bridge for a coffee/bloody mary/prosecco on the other side of the East River.
We were a bit hungover from our Thanksgiving adventures, but in good spirits. How can you not be when walking on a bridge that is pink?
As we left Manhattan behind the sun painted the city in gold. Sounds like a bad attempt to a bad poem about New York, but damn this city is pretty at sunset.
And not to talk about us. Lookin fly in da golden hour.
And like 25 minutes later we reached Brooklyn! The J train run past us.
We stepped out on Bedford Avenue and checked out some old stoves that were chilling along a wall.
And then we sat down at a restaurant (outside!!! in November!!!!!) on Berry Street and drank prosecco and bloody's and got so happy when we realized it's only Friday and we have the whole weekend ahead of us. We also got to cuddle the cutest puppy on the planet named Floppy. Check out my snap for proof: @fridaregeheim
As our stomachs were screaming for food we went home to mine and ate some leftovers and watched movies. Couldn't imagine a better way to spend a Friday off.
