2015 started on a beach in Thailand.
And then I went on to Berlin where I smoked too much and ate too many Zwieback's while being bored at the office. I didn't have a great time, but it was pretty chill. Linn, Carine and Caro came to visit me and those weekends made it easier to work in an office that stood completely still for 10 weeks. However, my time there resulted in me completing one thing on my bucket list: having something I created being displayed in a museum.
Then I went home to Stockholm and Frida took this photo of me that I love.
I also got to see Ludde for the first time in over a year. It always makes me happy when I see my old high school friends and it's just as comfortable as it used to be when we hung out every day.
And then I jumped on a plane to New York! There I reunited with basically my whole class from Hamburg which felt like coming home a little bit. We spent every weekend in bars, on rooftops or in Bushwick apartments like this one, drinking one too many beers and making out against the walls.
Spring came and it got so hot out that I avoided my balmy Chinatown apartment like the plague. Instead I spent all my time out eating soft cones, finding new favorite spots to eat and cooling down with drinks in every bar's back yard. When it was time to sleep I mostly escaped to Brooklyn where the air was a little lighter and the boy I used to kiss lived. I also got my third tattoo with Paula on a night out when we decided that we were too drunk for another drink and the only other option really was to get inked.
In June people started to head home for break. Me on the other hand was staying for it since I wanted to make out more and I felt like I wasn't finished just yet. On this particular night we were having dinner before saying bye to Ludde.
But eventually it was time for me to leave too and I had two days in Stockholm before heading to Hamburg. I spent them with my best friends at Emma's summer house BBQing, swimming in the ocean, crying over families and boys and laughing about them too.
When I got back to Hamburg I was a mess and sad most of the time. But I hid it under glittery make up and went dancing in the park with my friends.
Since our last quarter of school was basically just us building our portfolios and not having classes, there were a lot of time left to do other things such as going to Jakob's summer house for mornings swims and drink wine before lunch.
And when we stayed in Hamburg I hung out with my favorite boys.
And with Mayan <3 <3 <3
Then it started to go towards September and graduation. I was drinking with Louis at one point which is one of my favorite things to do.
Our graduation was the best one in the history of MASE (we gave ourselves the award) and I never wanted it to end. I remember dancing with Louis to Rihanna's Diamonds and at one point we just couldn't handle it anymore. We spent the whole night dancing and kissing and laughing and crying and I got buried in the best group hug one can be in.
Home in Stockholm I applied for jobs. It was a drag because it's so hard to get one. But I also got to hang out with my family and my friends and it all ended well, as we know.
And then I moved here! It's been an eventful year to say the least and when thinking back on it I get exhausted, but it also fills me with excitement that I've been doing all these things and going through everything that this year has brought on. I'll end the year on top having dinner with friends and then heading to Verboten in Williamsburg. I'm gonna drink bubbles, dance till I can't stand and let the boys kiss me.
Thank you so much to all of you who're reading this blog. You make me happy everyday in the comments and with your likes or by just dropping by. Take care of yourselves and each other. Here's to 2016.
Happy New Year! And lots of love.
