Last night we had a late Christmas party with work. It all started at the office in the afternoon with awards and champagne and getting ready to head to the actual party. We jumped into cars who drove us to Our Wicked Lady in Bushwick where we got Asian fusion food and cocktails that tasted everything but as the snowstorm that was rolling in over the city as we sipped on them.
My girl Sanna joined and at one point I kind of forgot that you aren't supposed to drink a gazillion cocktails just because it's an open bar. Things get kind of blurry from there but I know I had fun. All of a sudden I was in an Uber with Sanna, Sean and Harry going to Tribeca and a house party at Teresa's. There we made ourselves too strong of a drink and danced around her massive loft. I don't remember how or when or why but some time later all of us thought that going back to mine and drink beer would be a GREAT idea. So that we did. When we got out on the street the city was covered in white powder snow. And when we get to my place we eat chips and drink beer and hang out in my bed and I think about the fact that I didn't know these people three months ago and it doesn't make sense. At one point Sanna falls asleep like a dog at the end of the bed and the rest of us starts dozing of too. We end up sleeping all of us in a row trying to fit in my surprisingly big bed.
When I woke up this morning wearing yesterdays clothes and make up the windows were covered in snow. I felt as if I was inside of a snowball where everything was quiet and whatever we did last night, not that we could really remember, was only existing inside of this little snowball as the outside world spun on. We slept and woke up and dozed off back and forth until like 1pm and as I then get up to go to the bathroom I realize that I'm still drunk.
As soon as I'm alone I take a shower and then go back to bed and watch OC all day. Not the best decision considering I'm now having a massive hangover depression and all I want is for someone to come over here and like... brush my hair and hold me.
