Yesterday, when I was working from home with my gross rashes on my face I got a little bored while waiting for my co-worker to set up a Google Hangout-meeting with me. And so I found a pair of scissors in the bathroom. They were screaming my name, wanting me to pick them up and cut bangs. So I did.
Every time I cut bangs I feel so pretty! No matter how many times I try to let it grow out, I always go back to this 70s look and I'm so comfortable in it. And it goes so well with this vintage blouse that I got a few weeks back, right? I feel like I should hang out by a pool up in the hills of Tuscany and eat fresh peaches and drink Pellegrino soda when I wear it.
I put it on last night and walked over to Lisa's to have dinner on her balcony. After finishing some pad thai and watching our favorite music videos I went in to the Lower East Side and Forgtmenot to have a drink with Nicolas and his friends who are visiting from Toronto. When it was almost midnight we jumped on the J home and the sky was dark but the streets still warm. Walking home in the summer night with someone who does an awful Batman impression that has you crying from laughing and who stops you from getting run over by cabs beats most things, I gotta say.
