Winter in the spring and then summer again

On Friday the almost summer-weather that's been teasing us all week was gone. It was windy and cold as fuck. I didn't wanted to go to work, just lay in my bed and watch movies and eat candy. But, you gotta do what you gotta do. I put on vintage jeans from Levi's, sneakers Adidas Stan Smith, suede jacket from Mango and t-shirt from Primark.

After work I walked up to Lafayette Street and Ed's Lobster Bar to have dinner with Paula. On my way over there, I walked down Broome Street and it looked this pretty. We got seated in the bar and we decided quickly to get a lobster roll and a beer. We talked about how people said it was gonna be so easy to get laid here, but actually it's a fucking struggle and if you actually get it it can't be anything. Our Miami Ad School timing is such a bitch. The rolls though, were as tasty as I remembered and we ate till we were about to explode.

After we walked up to Saxon & Parole on Bowery. Jakob met up with us and told us about some house party on the Upper East that he'd been too the day before. Later Elton came too and we walked over to Welcome to the Johnson's on Rivington together with his friends Nick and Phil. There the PBR's are 2 bucks and they played the best of the 90s/early 00s so we were happy. That is until Ludde calls, drunk and wanting us to come pick him up in Meatpacking where he says he's hiding out under a bridge. Since we're great friends, Elton and I get into a cab and go over there. Only he had somehow moved across town and ended up on Madison Avenue and that's when we gave up and took a cab back to Brooklyn. All ended well though and as we step out of our taxi Ludde stumble out of his right next to us.

Yesterday, I went to my first basketball game! Elton and I went to Barclays Center to watch Brooklyn Nets win against Atlanta Hawks and it was so much fun. I'm amazed at how Americans constantly need to be entertained. Even in a short, few second break some dancers run in on the court and do some flips or whatever. Anyways, it was a lot of fun and we're happy they won. Although I wish I would've seen Jay-Z, but I guess Dave Franco has to do. After the game we went to Shake Shack and had burgers and cheese fries and shakes and it was so goooood. On my way back to Manhattan I felt as if I was rolling down the street. So worth it.

After the game I went home to change and then I met up with Hana at B Bar. She was there with a group of her friends she invited me over for a drink. On my way there I got groped by a homeless man on Bowery who, when I turned around, just stared at me smiling the creepiest smile I've ever seen. I was so shocked I didn't get a word out of my mouth and so I just ran away. So fucking disgusting and degrading. And no one on the street said or did anything. That is just sad.

Shaken, but mostly angry and not wanting this man to ruin my night I continued up the street and entered the loud bar. It was someones birthday and they took polaroids of everyone and refilled their bubbly glasses. Later we headed to Spring Street and some bar/club that was overcrowded which resulted in me spilling my beer all over myself not one, not two, but three times. A guy wanted to buy Hana and me drinks and he just wouldn't stop bringing us shots so I earned that spilled beer right back and got wasted in two seconds.

A few hours later I'm making out on my stoop after having been walked home through Chinatown, with Elton explaining to me that the Christmas lights they still keep up aren't actually Christmas lights. But they're snowflakes?
