Memorial Day Weekend

Untitled

On Thursday I went up to Lincoln Center after work with this babe as well as Elton, Ludde and Louis. We were going to New York Festivals to watch some agencies and students receive awards.

After downing a couple of drinks as well as almost falling asleep during the award ceremony, Elton Paula Ludde and I went to eat some ramen at Totto's. We inhaled our delicious noodles to the sounds of heavy metal which was a surprisingly nice combination. After our dinner the boys went home and Paula and I tried to decide what to do next. We smoked a cigarette on a stoop and realized there was only one way to end this evening.

We ended up here. At Village Pop. We were getting tattoos! The guys working there didn't seem to care that we were about two gin tonics, one cosmopolitan and one beer too drunk but just had us pay and then they made them in two seconds. We celebrated with another beer at a little pub around the corner before taking an Uber home.

The morning after I got a text from Elton saying: Haha you got a new tattoo last night? I forgot for a split second and got really confused, but then remembered that I had this beauty on my right arm. HURRA! My snapchat story for the night had ruined the surprise. (Btw, follow me if you want: fridaregeheim)

I got out of bed to soak up the warm weather and headed to Spring Street where I had this massive donut and ice coffee for breakfast. I spent the rest of the day here and there. Walked around Soho for a while before meeting up with Hana and Christina for some coffee. Later in the afternoon I met up with a sick Elton at my office where he was going to have class and I was picking up my computer. His teacher didn't show up though, so we ended up going to Chinatown for food instead.

And suddenly it was Friday night and I got ready to head out for a drink with some fine ladies. Or I didn't really get ready as all I did was putting on some red lipstick.

Yesterday Hana woke me up with a text saying it was time for brunch. So I didn't have much of a choice than to get up get dressed and walk up to East Village. There these lovelies were waiting for me; Hana and Louis (and Ludde) <3

We ordered french toast and pasta and granola and bacon and bloody mary's and coffee and orange juice. It was delicious, as you can see. We filled each other in on what we'd been up to during the weekend so far between our bites. When we were done I walked cross town with the boys to meet up with Louis' friend Anton for a drink in the sun. We got a little tipsy before am turned to pm, but that's alright when you're having a long weekend.

After having been home for an hour doing laundry and cleaning my room I went to meet up with my tattoo buddy. We had soft cones in Madison Square Park and tried to get a good photo where both our tattoos were visible. It was HARD, but we made it happen. Then I jumped on the L over to Brooklyn to cuddle with Elton for a while who was still sick in bed. Today it was hot and balmy out. We went to the park where we were sweating balls and watching people/dogs and drank our own version of mimosas (peach iced tea and cava). It's been a good weekend! And we still have tomorrow!
